Nutrition

Soy is a complete protein. That means that soy contains all nine of the essential amino acids that the human body needs, but cannot synthesize on its own. Soybeans have more protein, per calorie, than both whole milk and red meat. So vegetarian and vegans take note. Next time someone asks you where you get your protein from, just let them know, it's not even an issue!

Soy is also an excellent source of iron, calcium, vitamin B, fiber, omega 3 fatty acids and phosphorus.
