Allergens


Many of our customers choose WholeSoy not only because it tastes great, but also to satisfy health and allergy concerns. The ability of our allergic customers to safely enjoy our products is our greatest reward. All WholeSoy & Co. products are free of dairy, casein, gluten, whey, eggs and tree nuts (with the exception of hazelnuts in our Chocolate Hazelnut Soy Frozen Yogurt).


Shared Equipment

We at WholeSoy understand that children and adults may have mild to life-threatening reactions to specific allergens. Therefore, we feel it is important to share our manufacturing practices with our customers so they can make informed choices about consuming our products.


WholeSoy follows the highest production and processing standards. We take the utmost care in our manufacturing procedures to ensure the quality of our products. This is particularly important when it comes to allergy issues.


WholeSoy products are soy-based and dairy free. These products are manufactured on equipment that also processes dairy products containing some of the allergens listed above. We have taken appropriate steps to avoid possible cross-contamination. Ingredients used for soy products and dairy products are stored separately. All lines and equipment are cleaned and sanitized with special cleaning agents to break down and cleanse the machines of all traces of dairy and other allergens. This cleaning process takes several hours and is employed at the beginning and end of each day and in between runs of soy and dairy. In keeping with kosher standards, the equipment is also left dormant for 24-hours between runs of dairy and soy.


Our cleaning process is extremely thorough and it is highly unlikely any of the above-mentioned allergens are present in any of our products. However, we cannot guarantee this 100%.


Natural Flavors

We use natural flavors and colors in very small amounts to ensure consistency of taste, appearance and texture from one batch to the next. Extracted from nature using a non-chemical process, our natural flavors are free of dairy, gluten, casein, whey, eggs and tree nuts. Unfortunately, due to proprietary concerns, we cannot give a complete ingredient list for the natural flavors. However, we have allergy statements available upon request.
